| The National Equine Database (NED) is a unique database that contains information about every equine born or resident in the United Kingdom with a UK passport, and will for the first time, tell us about the nature of the British horse population. Everyone with a horse will have a reason to look at NED. NED contains an equine record for every passport issued by a UK Passport Issuing Organisation (PIO), which contains the name of the horse, its age, gender, height, colour, sire and dam (where provided). These basic details are available for you to view free of charge. Once you have identified the equine you would like to look at, you will have the option of performing a variety of functions which include producing reports on pedigree, performance, grading and evaluations. |
